Christmas days are here! I can´t believe one year has passed already since the cities were full of lights, the boutiques were crowded and everything had a special smell. The perfect time to be surrounded by our loved ones and celebrate the great moments which are about to come.
Regarding looks and outfits, I truly believe it is one of the occasions during the year when you can play and take some risks. I would like to share with you a few of the trends and looks I have been experimenting with during the past weeks.
As you know, one of my fav hair style is long and natural hair, maybe because never is out of style and is one of youth symbols. It is really important the hair looks smooth, shiny and healthy. I love to match it with a romantic look with a rock&roll touch and some military boots. Perfect to dance all night long!
If we are talking about opposites, another option is to bet for a bold and original bun, like this one inspired by one of my favorite movies, Blade Runner. This arty look is a risky and sophisticated option – with a futurist touch that I love! On this occasion, more is more, and an extreme make up could be the perfect accessory.
As final touch, I always use Pantene Lacquer – its extra tiny polymers add extra shine and hair flexible fix which last all day long!
Another of my favorite alternatives is a low tight bun. It requires that the hair is very bright to get the glam effect we want. You know I’m a suits lover and I think the duality between masculine and feminine can be in most occasions much sexier than a mini dress. This season, opt for a two-pieces suit with embroidery and a fantasy point.
To finish, there are no Christmas holidays without a classic and glamorous look. I love the allure of classic Hollywood diva (adding points with a red lipstick and a lot of mascara)
To achieve this, you must comb the hair with a round brush and a blow dryer, with the aim of “undoing” it afterwards in a very careful way to achieve an effect of loose waves and with a lot of movement. The result is effortless, and keeping its character. To achieve this effect I wash my hair with the Micellar Shampoo, then applying the Perfect Volume foam (both from Pantene) – I have fine hair, so it is vital to provide volume but without weighing down it.
I would love to know what your hair styles and inspirations are during the holidays! Do not hesitate to leave me your recommendations and suggestions in comments.
I wish you all a happy Christmas and a wonderful 2018 full of good times.
